I rejoiced with those who said to me, "Let us go to the
house of the Lord." Psalm 122v.1
Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church
Sunday School
We view our Sunday school as one way in which
the church assist families in nurturing their faith in Christ
through the study of God's Word. The Sunday school and the home must
develop a partnership if the Sunday school is to help children grow
in their faith. Purpose: Every child is a gift of God.
However, with the gift comes the responsibility of training the
child in the ways of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Parents have the
primary responsibility for this training. The Mt. Calvary Sunday
school objective is to assist parents in meeting this
responsibility. Children are indeed precious, and nothing is more
important than helping them learn the love of their Savior, Jesus
Christ.
Lutheran Pioneers and
Lutheran Girl Pioneers Are Christ centered programs,
for children in grades Kindergarten through high school. It is our
ultimate goal of keeping our children "Loyal to Christ". We strive
to develop in each student and adult member of the program their
potential for leadership through personal interaction and promote
service to the Lord and to the world around them. This is
accomplished through worship, evangelism, education, citizenship and
recreational activities, all centered in God's Word and consistent
with the doctrine of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.Have questions?
