Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church
To our friends who know us, we renew our
welcome; to those new among us, we extend it most sincerely; to
those seeking a church home, we offer fellowship with a living
Savior, membership in his Church and citizenship in his eternal

Mt. Calvary is an affiliated congregation
of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS) which has
gathered for worship here at 16th and Park Ave. since 1928. We have
been a member of the Luther High School Association since 1957. Mt.
Calvary/Grace School opened its doors in 1958. Our message is as old
as God's Word to humanity: Jesus Christ, crucified and risen, for
the salvation of man. The Pastors and people of Mt. Calvary stand
ready with a desire to serve your personal and spiritual needs in

At Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church we teach
the "one thing needful." These words of Christ were first
spoken to Martha at Bethany in Judea. The "one thing needful" is the
Gospel of the crucified and risen Savior and Redeemer. Mt. Calvary
Lutheran Church confesses that there is no salvation, without the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God and the world's Savior
from sin. The Gospel of Jesus Christ, as it comes to us through his
Word and Sacraments, is the heart and soul of all that is preached
and taught at Mt. Calvary. The goal of all ministry here is to teach
and to spread the Gospel of Christ Jesus to all People.
